Judith Heard Urges Ugandans To Convince Foreigners To Invest In Their Country

Fashion model and activist Judith Heard has argued Ugandans to convince their foreign friends to come and invest in Uganda. She said Uganda has so many tourism destinations but it is sad that those foreigners don’t even know that Uganda has such good places.

According to Judith Heard, there are so many people going to Arab countries to tour each year. She said if those people came to Uganda, the country would benefit so much from them. Unfortunately, Ugandans don’t love their country.

The former model has been an advocate for the environment and tourism at the same time. She said her voice has helped some people and has saved some lives at the same time.

Planting of trees and preserving the environment has been the talk although some Ugandans have adamantly ignored it.

And for tourism, Ms Heard has revealed that every Ugandan needs to preach about the good things in the country.  She said Ugandans need to stop spreading negative comments that make investors fear to come.

“As a country, we have many people going to the United Arab Emirates, but there are few people coming to Uganda. We need to encourage them to consider investing in Uganda,” she said in her recent interview.
