Juliana Kanyomozi And Iryn Namubiru Prove There Is No Bad Between Them

Legendary female musicians Juliana Kanyomozi and Iryn Namubiru have proven that there is no bad between them. This is after they sat down for a one-on-one interview.

Apparently, Juliana always invites different personalities for exclusive interviews on her YouTube channel. And this time it was Iryn Namubiru.

The two singers are considered the mothers of urban female music in the country. They even started as an all-girl duo in the late 90s and early 2000s under the moniker I-JAY.

However, along the way, they parted ways and never spoke again for a very long time. Rumors swung around for several years that the two were no longer seeing eye to eye and the possible reason for their rift.

In the past few years, the singers, however, seemed to get back in touch but it had never been public. Now seeing them together on this podcast sent goosebumps to many people.

Iryn spoke about her musical journey. She said that she discovered that she had a unique voice at the tender age of 7-8. Some schools used to come and hire her to go and sing for them.

Additionally, the Nkuweki singer said that it was Ragga Dee who introduced her to the mainstream entertainment industry. He just didn’t stop there but also protected her in the industry known to be volatile.

She also went ahead to talk about the 2018 MV Templar which drowned on Lake Victoria that she was aboard. According to Iryn, this tragedy affected her both negatively and positively. She was one of those rumored to have died but luckily she made it out alive.

Meanwhile, the Obasinga singer is gearing up for her concert on the 26^th of July at the Kampala Serena Hotel.
