According to sources, Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi could possibly make some changes at the palace involving the leadership of the establishment. Make expect these changes very soon.

With no elaboration on who this will affect, the sources confirm that there is convincing facts that the King of Buganda needs to make some changes to re-energize the team.

“Changes are coming,” one of the sources assured.

Over the last couple of days, Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi has had meetings with influential Baganda elders, former Buganda ministers, and other important people over various reasons.

Insiders information indicates that clan leaders known commonly known as the ‘bataka’ met the Kabaka at Lubiri.

However, in some of these meetings, it is said that the Kabaka asked the clan leaders not to be worried about his health and has been always firm about his views. And according to the Kabaka, the general public has exaggerated his health condition.

They never discussed the offices that this is likely to affect at the palace.

The Kingdom however encourages the entire public to keep their ears on the ground. They said the Kabaka takes his time. This is as much as he can change his mind on any issue that had been proposed.

Of recent, Bulange Mmengo has been in the spotlight over matters of poor handling of the Kabaka’s deteriorating health. Members of the public are accusing senior officials at Mengo of trying to sweep the serious issue under the carpet.

However, the Kingdom released a statement this week. They said that some people are using the Kabaka’s health to cause divisions in the kingdom.

“Do not lend a hand to the enemies of Buganda and Uganda by spreading false information which is intended to cause fear, alarm and undue excitement. The efforts to weaken the kingdom shall not succeed. The disguised concern for the kingdom should not deceive anyone”. A statement signed by Dick Kasolo, the Kabaka’s press secretary partly read.
