There was a time when this band had the likes of Hassan Nduga, Nabbi Omukazi, Hajjati Mariam Bibuuza, Bettina Namukasa among others. It however collapsed and everyone went different ways to barely ever be heard of except for Nduga.
The Ebintu Bizibu singer while appearing on NTV’s Mwasuze Mutya said that the band collapsed because of hatred and greed.
Each artist hated one another. He recalled that one time Nabbi Omukazi chased him out of the car en route to a performance.
“Revival band collapsed because there were tensions and disagreements. Each person didn’t like one other. At one time Nabbi Omukazi ordered me to exit the car as we were going for a performance in Mubende. This is simply because Pastor Yiga liked me so much,” said Nduga.
Nduga also gave an excerpt of Pastor Yiga’s persona. He said that the late was short-tempered but also kind-hearted.
Yiga at one time gifted Nduga a car but Nabbi Omukazi wouldn’t let him have it. However, the pastor still gave Nduga a house in Rubaga.
The musician also highlighted rumors that he had become mad. According to Nduga, this wasn’t true as he was rather possessed by his cultural ancestors which is totally okay with him.
