It is a very respected attire because you don’t just find it anywhere. Usually, it’s pulled out prestigious functions because of how decent it is.
It is a non-revealing attire, covers up all the essential parts and this is why it is preferred especially when women are meeting their in-laws.
Yesterday, in the photo that made rounds on social media, men were pulling off this outfit. Kasuku said it was so uncalled for regardless of the reason.
These men were celebrating women’s day and that is how best they thought they could do it. It was a group of four married men who were heading to probably meet their wives in this attire.
For some other people though, this was a beautiful sight, especially for the women. For them, it was a statement from men saying they are together with them.
Others though just decided to have fun with it because of the way the men looked in gomesi. Usually, to see a man in gomesi would be in a comedy show when a man is trying to act like a woman.
In any case, Kasuku just thinks this is clownish and not as funny as it was supposed to appear.
Looking at the photo though, it was harmless. Obviously, because these men are married. We really can’t say they are gay as some people wanted to suppose.
