Dembe FM’s Kasuku Nominated As The Vice Chairman, Uganda Journalists Association

The famously known radio presenter and MC, Kuku Wazabanga, well-known as Kasuku was recently nominated as the newly elected vice president of Uganda Journalists Association [UJA], which was formerly Uganda Science Journalists Association (USJA) in 2017.

However, Uganda Journalists Association makes a combination and joins together all journalists in Uganda.

Therefore, it was today when they had to nominate new leaders including Kasuku, who was posted as the vice Chairman in this organisation.

Kasuku elected as the vice chairman in Uganda Journalists Association.

When the Dembe FM ‘talk and talk’ show host asked about this success, Kasuku lamented that his main target is to bring different journalists together as one in Uganda.

“A few minutes ago,i got nominated for the post of Vice President Uganda Journalists Association. I have so many things i could love to do but most importantly i have the desire of reviving UJA as an association and bringing journalists closer to each other. Everybody seems to be putting their house in-order but somehow we as journalists have failed. The main purpose of this process is not solely to win but to cause change that will be of help to not only us but also those that will come after us. Now is the time to restore the glory of the 4th estate,” Kasuku confirmed to the public.

We congratulate Kasuku on behalf of his success, and we hope he’ll use his position wisely.
