Katumba John Introduces New Political Party Ahead Of 2026 Elections

Former presidential candidate Katumba John is back again with a new political party as he plans ahead of the 2026 elections. He said he was criticized last time for contesting as an independent candidate for the biggest seat in the country.

He said that is why he couldn’t get many supporters especially the youth because they usually bundle up under political parties and strong one at that.

The controversial former presidential candidate was the youngest in the 2021 general elections. He wasn’t experienced then and he didn’t know so much when it came to politics.

However, he somehow succeeded up to the end despite not coming out victorious. At least people got to know him and a few others voted for him.

According to Katumba John, he knows very well that even the few votes he got he was very appreciative as a youth. He said with his new political party National Revival Coalition (NRC), he hopes the youth can now come together and take over as it is their time to shine.

The young politician said without a political party, people saw him as nothing. However, he is now proving to them he is capable and can do whatever he sets his eyes on.

“I have a political party called the National Revival Coalition. When the system started, they said that without a party that brings you together, you’re nothing. That’s why most youth are always left behind,” he said.
