With the two rivals chasing after different goals, KCCA is keen to go joint top with leaders Vipers who were beaten in Tooro on Friday. And as for SC Villa, they only aim at easing their relegation woes.
KCCA, with its 40 points will be in the same position as the Venoms if they win. This will also compound the Jogoos’ misery who sits just a point and position off the relegation zone with 18 points.
Badru Kaddu who is expected to be in charge of the hosts with Head coach Morley Byekwaso unwell stated;
“Every game to us is a final. We are taking it a game at a time. We have prepared the players quite well and whoever gets the opportunity to make the matchday squad tomorrow knows the task at hand,” he stated.
The hosts have Ashraf Mugume and Brian Majwega back in the squad after missing the 2-2 draw at Express FC. After being out for eight months, defender Peter Magambo is also back.
The Jogos camp has been silent and hard to know who is in and out. They could have defender Gavin Kizito and Kenneth Ssemakula back in contention.
KCCA has not dropped any points at HOME against SC Villa in the last time league meetings. Overall, the past 18 meetings have produced 10 wins for KCCA, 2 for SC Villa and six draws.
The reverse fixture at Fufa Technical Centre, Njeru ended in a 1-1 draw.
