Kenya Protests: Gen-Z To Storm Streets Tomorrow, Demand Ruto’s Resignation

The Kenya Protests will see young people ‘Gen Z’ storming streets in tomorrow Tuesday as they demand the current President Samuel William Ruto to resign.

This comes after they protested in rejection of the 2024 finance bill last week and the president in fact withdrew the bill.

Last week during the protest, many people lost their lives and others were left injured. Kenyans were so angry that the government especially the president wasn’t recognising them.

Yesterday, he addressed the nation saying he recognizes only 19 people that passed away as the others were criminals misleading the public.

With many other youths still missing after the protest, the Gen–Zs are saying that there is no solution apart from the president resigning or them forcing him out of office.

Kenyans are saying that their president H.E William Ruto has been caught up in his lies. He has nothing more to offer. It is time for them to get a new president who listens to them.

“PUBLIC NOTICE: Get ready for Tuesday! 🚨 Gen-Z is mobilizing like never before. We’re taking to the streets and occupying every corner of Kenya. From the cities to the villages, our voices will be heard. Change is coming, and we’re VERY READY FOR TUESDAY! #OccupyEverywhere,” one of the tweets associated with the movement reads.

It should be noted that the Kenya Protests are mobilized through social media.
