Khalifah AgaNaga Disputes Jeff Kiwa And Sheebah Karungi’s Breakup

Singer Khalifah AgaNaga has come out to dispute the fact that songstress Sheebah Karungi and her ‘former’ manager Jeff Kiwa broke up. Late last year, news reports filled tabloids of how Sheebah had quit TNS.

The two started throwing hints around on how they had parted ways. Sheebah even unveiled new management and Jeff went ahead to sign a new artist in Rahmah Pinky.

There has however always been a sense of doubt whether the two actually broke up or if it’s a stunt. Khalifah who wrote a number of songs for Sheebah while she was still in TNS disputed this.

The Ndabirawa singer who also wrote Sheebah’s latest song ‘Nkwata Bulungi’ says it was for Jeff Kiwa. The TNS boss however told Khalifah to give it to Sheebah.

Khalifah also wondered why Dirisa who was Sheebah’s handler in TNS wasn’t changed when she went solo.

“I have my doubts if Sheebah and Jeff really parted ways. I wrote Sheebah’s latest song but it was meant for Jeff. He however told me to forward it to Sheebah and the other song I had written was taken by him,…” Khalifah said.

He further went ahead to say that if Sheebah had indeed parted ways with Jeff, she has to work hard and prove her star status.

According to Khalifah, she’s already proven herself but people need to be ‘re-proven’ to certify you.
