The Bambi singer said that he’s only holding the government accountable. This is because if the people themselves don’t rise up to speak, nobody will do it for them.
About running for office, he said that this is like assuming that every Ugandan will become involved in active politics if they speak up against the government.
He stated that this is not the case with him, as all he wants is the provision of quality services to the people. Saha said that he’s still bent on releasing his 100 songs about a revolution. So far, he’s just released 6.
“I’m not eying any political office but rather holding the gover accountable. People should stop assuming that everybody who rises to speak up against poor service delivery wants to run for Parliament. I promised to release 100 revolutionary songs and so far I have released just six,” he said.
Additionally, the singer said that for musicians who do not align with his message, they should call and talk to him.
He will then explain to them to make them see what he sees. King Saha also said that him going to Parliament a few days ago had nothing much in it.
He advised people to stop being afraid of going there. This is because the institution was put in place to serve the country.
