Kirumira Charged With New Charges

The former Buyende DPC kirumira was charged for storming out of court. Kirumira last week got out of control after being given stringent terms for him to be bailed out.

The officer fumed out of the police court striking against unfair terms that were given to him.

The police disciplinary court through its chairman Odongpiny read fresh charges to the Assistant Superintendent of Police that included: scandalous conduct, assault and irregular conduct.

Despite of the new charges read to him, the officer was released on bail.

Terms of Kirumira Bail included;

He was asked to report to the Professional Standards Unit every day. He was also told to stop from speaking to the media and posting on social media about police issues.

Assistant Commissioner of Police Sam Omara stood as kirumira’s surety on bailing him out. Omara begged the media not to attempt the released officer by approaching and asking him questions since he was forbidden.
