Assailants stole the dogs on Wednesday night in West Hollywood as they were out with Gaga’s dog walker. They, unfortunately, shot him, during the abduction. The 30-year-old man had all three dogs during the altercation but the thieves only managed to capture two of them.
Law enforcement officials said a woman returned the dogs to LAPD’s Olympic Community Police Station. She, however, seemed to be uninvolved with the attack that led to the abduction of the dogs.
It is not clear yet how the woman came to be in possession of the dogs, but Lady Gaga offered a $500,000 reward for their safe return.
Ryan Fischer, the dog walker is in a stable condition according to an LAPD press release. A video released shows Fischer struggling with the attackers before they shot and injured him.
On Friday morning the LAPD released information on the unidentified suspects asking help from the public. They also opened up an investigation into the abduction of the dogs and how the woman came to have them in her custody.
