Late Evelyn Lagu’s Light Candle Concert Cancelled

The late singer and actress Evelyn Lagu’s light the candle concert has been allegedly cancelled. This happened a few weeks to the actual date which was set by Evelyn Lagu herself before she died.

The late singer suffered from heart and kidney problems. For five years she went through treatment but unfortunately couldn’t live any longer.

Last month, she breathed her last despite having had plans to hold a concert to help herself and also donate to those struggling with kidney problems.

At her burial, Mesach Semakula who had given her a venue for free pledged to continue with the concert.

He said Lagu’s son knew all the things to take place, he will work hand in hand with him to make sure his late mother’s dream is achieved.

The news spread on social media that the concert has been Cancelled. According to one blogger, the reason for the cancellation is the collision of events.

The Aromatic band are said to have organised an event on the same date as Evelyn Lagu. They also said she had chosen that date to just destruct their event.

As a person who has been in the entertainment industry and doesn’t want any grudges, Mesach Semakula decided to call off the event.

He said those that want to help Evelyn Lagu’s son should reach out to him because the event is not going to take place for him to get something from it.
