Levels Lounge Rebrands To Levels Kitchen After A Police Raid Over Covid SOPs

On Wednesday night, police raided what was Levels Lounge and now Levels kitchen after someone tipped them off that some people were having a party. The President has not allowed bars to work officially. Unfortunately, this didn’t seem to matter to Levels Lounge who had a lot of people and even after curfew. A number of people are still in prison up to now. They are waiting for court to charge them the amount of money to pay.

The president, while speaking on Sunday said they will not be keeping people in prison anymore. They will instead rather charge them some money. Meanwhile, in a letter that was released by now Levels Kitchen, they claim the police arrested their workers and not partying people as reported.

“We were raided by Police, our guests and staff members who were winding up to leave were whisked away.” The statement read.

“This came as a shock to all of us because it happened on a day when a ministry of health endorsed vaccination drive and a renewed commitment to safe leisure had just been established. The public has witnessed coverage of vaccinations at Levels in major National media houses, revison of service methods and reinforcement of adherence of SOPs” they added.

Many bars have been operating even after the ministry of health advised them to remain closed. Currently, the cases are escalating at a very high rate. Any form of carelessness could lead to catastrophic situations in the country.
