Bobi Wine has said the liberation struggle cannot be over-emphasized. He noted that for the very first time Ugandans in the diaspora are part of this struggle.
He said this as he was addressing Ugandans in diaspora during a conference. He extended his gratitude towards the Ugandans in the diaspora for their participation in what he calls the struggle.
The leader of NUP, Kyagulanyi said the president is so much afraid of their participation. Bobi wine also says Museveni knows the impact of pressure from outside the country because he used it too to fight Obote.
“In the 1980s when he [Museveni] was fighting, he relied on the external wing of National Resistance Army (NRA) to demonize Obote and mobilize against him. Unfortunately, he has turned out worse than the Obote he demonized all over the world,” he said.
Apparently, the regime sponsored propagandists who have emerged in different parts of the world.
He says these have been deployed to demonize their struggle and openly discourage people from continuing the course of the revolution.
“That is why the regime has deployed spies in major places to monitor diaspora activities. I call upon everyone to be alert and vigilant while courageously defending the cause,” he said.
Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine has insisted since January that he won the presidential elections. He says he is the person the people voted but the regime didn’t give him his win as they should have.
He has since been calling upon people to stand up and fight for what he calls true and right.
