Luke shaw ready for the second operation before he returns to UK

Manchester United’s full back defender Luke shaw broke his right leg in two places during ManU’s deafeat of 2-1 against PSV in the champions league match. Doctors claim that they’re unwilling to let Shaw travel until they’re satisfied there’s no risk of infection which is the standard protocol for the second operation.

The 20 year- old defender was taken to St Anna Ziekenhuis hospital on the outskirts of Eindhoven on Tuesday night were he had an immediate operation.

ManU executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward visited shaw the next morning after the match and the player’s parents are understood to be with him now.

The left-back broke his tibia and fibula following a challenge by PSV defender Hector Moreno in the 15th minute. Although it is not yet confirmed as to when the England international will be back but he is expected to be out of Manchester United for almost a year.

Manchester United is to face Southampton on the 20th this Sunday which is the former team of Luke shaw.
