Man Hacks 2 Relatives To Death, Sets Himself On Fire

Residents of Kirungi B village in Mubende Municipality were left in shock after a man identified as Sewanyana Sadam killed two of his relatives and sets family house ablaze where he was also burnt to death, according to Mr Ahimbisibwe Julius, the police commander of Mubende District.

The victims’names were Namukwaya Josephine, 18, and Makumbi Ben, 10.

On Saturday night, One of the residents identified as Mr Lumbuye Simon told our reporter that the killer (who is also a deceased) was the head of the family and he murdered his relatives using a panga .

He slashed off Makumbi’s neck and cut Josephine’s body into pieces.

After committing the heinous act, this killer man reportedly locked himself inside the house and set it on fire.

According to Mr Simon, Sewanyana had misunderstanding with the wife known as Jane, who had deserted their home and began living in town market where she works as a vendor.

We also realized that there was domestic violence between the couple. Jane survived because she was not at home when the incident took place,’he added.
