Police are considering charges including Attempted Murder, to be slapped on former Uganda Cranes Captain Geofrey Massa, who was shot at by Patrol Police Wednesday night together with a female friend.

The former captain allegedly evaded police officers who found his vehicle suspiciously parked along the high way on the Nambole Fly Over.
When the officers approached the vehicle, Massa reportedly sped off and almost knocked other officers and a motorcyclist.
His car was shot at in an attempt to stop him and his friend Josephine Maliza was inured by the bullets.
Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson Emilian Kayima now says the football ace yesterday recorded a statement with the police and that a number of changes are being weighed.
“We are likely to prefer charges of attempted murder and reckless driving in the case we are investigating,” said Kayima in a short statement.
Mr Massa is said to have sustained injuries when he braked instantly and hit his head on the windscreen.
He and Ms Maliza who had bullet wounds were rushed to a nearby Clinic named Gwaniro.
