Moureen Nantume Dares Catherine Kusasira To A Music Battle

Band singer Maureen Nantume has dared fellow female singer Catherine Kusasira to a music battle. She made this statement following Cindy Sanyu and Sheebah’s battle that is set to happen today 15th September 2023 at Kololo airstrip.

Sheebah and Cindy Sanyu’s battle has been one of the long awaited as it’s fans have always asked for it.

Unfortunately Sheebah’s manager Jeff Kiwa had shun it for a while. When the artiste left Team No Sleep to manage herself she gave it a shot.

Some fans and artistes have been against this battle saying it is not good for the music industry. Others have actually appreciated it because it is money-making. Others claim it’s pushing female musicians to the top because the industry has been male dominated.

With Sheebah and Cindy Sanyu leading, now Maurine Nantume is ready to join but wants to battle Catherine Kusasira.

In her recent interview, she publically asked Catherine Kusasira to battle her if she is ready. This is because as an artiste who has been in the music industry, she thinks she is more than ready.

Nantume said it is good that healthy competitions are going on in the music industry especially among female artistes.

“I am happy that Sheebah and Cindy are ready for the battle. Who knew that female musicians would also be in such? Since it’s a healthy competition, I want Catherine Kusasira to also join me and we battle because I am ready,” she said.
