According to him, what she did is the real packaging of a musician and artist in one. Specifically, the Misubawa singer applauded Ntale’s performance of her Bikoola song alongside the Goodlyf.
Kirya was wowed by how she played the guitar to it, which just showed the caliber of singer she is.
“I just watched @Irenentale live performance from last night. That’s a real artist right there and a musician! Her live version of “bikoola” and her playing guitar to it, proves how all round she is!.”
Ntale was elated by the appraisal from a fellow equally talented musician. Taking to her Twitter page, she replied with a “Thank you Mukwano.”
Meanwhile, the Ikon Awards took place at the Kampala Serena Hotel over the weekend. These were geared at recognizing and awarding the best players in the Ugandan film industry.
Kirya who was among the nominees for his roles in the viral Netflix movie ‘The Girl In The Yellow Jumper’ said that he had no idea about the awards. He only got to know about them the following day and learnt that the movie had actually bagged several awards.
“I woke up to find out there was a film awards ceremony in Kampala last night. And that we were nominated for many categories and actually won. #thegirlintheyellowjumper.”
Meanwhile, this movie which Loukman Ali did racked up several awards. It picked up 4 awards in different categories.
