MC Kats Apparently Spent His Salary On Fille For 4 Years And Got Nothing

Despite not being a musician, MC Kats, a television presenter and events Mcee has found his way to the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF).

This federation was unveiled to the public earlier this month. Since then, it has been on the lips of people and all over the media.

This Federation was formed on top of the Uganda Musicians Association (UMA), which has existed for some years but has done nothing for the musicians.

It has a new generation of Musicians like Eddy Kenzo, Sheebah, Pallaso as its top leaders. This means it is very different from the UMA which had the older musicians led by Cinderella Sanyu.

Few days after the federation was formed, Eddy Kenzo made a long post on social media. he was clearly stating the aims of the federation.

One of the aims was about the copyright law which has been an issue in the industry for some time. He also talked about the UPRS (Uganda Performing Rights Society) which hasn’t been clear.

As a talent manager, MC Kats said he also joined the UNMF because he invested all he had in ex-wife Fille and it didn’t yield. He said he hoped joining the federation will help him finally earn from his hustle.

“Hungry n cold nites.
Did many free shows.
Put my ka salary from tv into Fille for 4 years with no returns.
All For this UG music.
I join UNMF coz their goals show hope to earn from my hustle,” MC Kats posted.
