MC Mariachi Blames Bad Weather For Geoffrey Lutaaya’s Concert Flop

Comedian MC Mariachi has come out to blame bad weather as the main reason why singer Geoffrey Lutaaya’s show at  Theatre Labonita massively flopped. There were just a handful of people in the thousand seater theatre.

MC Mariachi who was one of the performers went ahead to perform. He then blamed the heavy downpour that happened prior to the concert.

“The concert didn’t simply flop because Geoffrey Lutaaya is a big brand. It was rather the heavy torrential rains that disrupted the concert. The rain poured down nonstop and there is no way people could make it to the show. And besides his people are VIP, therefore it’s difficult for them to come out to the concert having to beat the heavy traffic too. I came as his friend and supported,” Mariachi said.

People were left wondering why his NUP party members weren’t there to support him.

It was not Geoffrey Lutaaya’s concert that only flopped. Ugandan South Africa-based socialite, Zari Hassan also saw her pool party hugely flop.

The socialite who had come to Uganda to attend a friend’s wedding decided to make an extra quick buck. However by the end of the night, the empty tables were much more than the attendees.

For Zari, it hadn’t been advertised a lot and it might be the major reason why it flopped.
