Looking sickly and hunger-stricken, he told of how the comedian rarely gives him any help although he used to in the past.
Mariachi however came out and addressed this saga. He said that this man is not his biological father but rather an uncle.
The comedian added how his father died about 2 years ago. However, his family including his paternal auntie and heir to the father has said that neither Byaruhanga nor the man Mariachi claims to be his father are.
His father died when he was just 6 years according to his auntie. Mariachi was only raised by his uncle who died two years ago and he refers to him as his father.
“My names are Birungi Rosemary Nalwadda and I’m Mariachi’s paternal auntie. In regard to the rumors that have been circulating, I want to clarify that they are false. The man who was in the news is just an uncle to Mariachi. Even the man who Mariachi refers to as his father that died about two years ago is also an uncle. He raised him from the age of 6 after his biological father passed away,” she said.
The heir to Mariachi’s deceased father Sserwadda, who was buried two years ago also confirmed this. He said the comedian grew up from their household and they raised him as one of their own.
Byaruhanga is therefore not in any way Mariachi’s father. Besides he has his own children who have refused to look after him.
