Miss Rwanda 2020 Announces Her Wedding Date With Ethiopian Fiancé Michael

The Miss Rwanda 2020 Naomie Nishimwe and her fiancé Michael Tesfay have excitedly revealed their wedding date. Naomie and her boyfriend started dating in 2021 and got engaged in 2022.

They have been enjoying each other’s company and living a low-key life in their relationship.

Early this year, the 2020 Miss Rwanda had talked about her wedding saying it is taking them time but they are planning to finally wed in December 2024. Yesterday she posted on her Instagram saying that they have finally got a date and that is 29th December 2024.

“We’re excited that our wedding dates are set, and we can’t wait to share this special moment with all of you!. Save the date you know what it is,” Naomi posted

It is very common that so many beauty queens don’t easily get married. There is a stereotype that maybe they are not good for marriage and don’t want to get pregnant.

There are some who have actually got married and are successful in their marriage. They even have children and are still beautiful.

In Rwanda, Naomi is the fourth beauty queen to get married since 2009. The rest we can say probably got married too but in low-key functions outside of Africa. It’s common for African beauty queens to relocate to the developed world.

While out there, they get into relationships and have families without the media ever knowing about it. However, it’s also common for these women not to get married.

A lot of them stay single for years because of their modeling careers. This career path usually stops many of them from getting pregnant.
