Zimbabwe’s main opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai died in South Africa yesterday evening. (14the February 2018).

Tsvangirai’s death was confirmed MDC vice president Elias Mudzuri . He has been suffering from colon cancer.
Mudzuri tweeted:
“As you are aware that our MDC T President, Dr Morgan Richard has not been feeling well for some time, it is sad for me to announce that we have lost our icon and fighter for democracy. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family, the party and the nation at this hour.”

Who Is Morgan Richard Tsvangirai?
Morgan Richard was born on 10th March 1952 in the Buhera area. He has been a Zimbabwean politician who was a prime minister of Zimbabwe from 2009 to 2013. He was the co-founder and President of the MDC-T (Movevement For Democratic Change-Tsvangirai). Tsvangirai was known for his political struggle against former Zimbabwe president Robert Mugabe.
Tsvangirai was arrested after the government alleged that he had threatened by then the President of Zimbabwe Robert Mugabe according to Wikipedia.
