NUP Founder, Moses Kibalama Hails UPDF For Extraordinary Treatment

National Unity Platform (NUP) founder Moses Kibalama has hailed the UPDF for giving him extraordinary care. This care and treatment helped see Kibalama recover from an illness he had been suffering from.

Earlier last month, the UPDF admitted Kibalama to Bombo Military Hospital in a coma after he had tested positive for Covid-19.

However, speaking on Sunday during a review on his status, Kibalama said he has no idea how he got to the hospital. This is because he probably fell unconscious after difficulty in breathing. He, however, applauded the army for coming to his help.

‘’I was taken to Bombo Military Hospital in a coma about three weeks ago but the soldiers made sure I returned to normalcy in just two to three days. I was in admission for two weeks where I experienced the true professionalism of the UPDF,’’ Kibalama said on Sunday.

He said he resurrected within a day or two but woke up with doctors and machines surrounding him like he had been admitted. He further said that ICU treatment is not like any other treatment.

The controversial politician however noted that apart from the general body weakness, he is progressing quite well. He further said that he expects to be back on his feet in a few weeks.
