A Mother Fought 20 Chimpanzees And Rescued Her Baby From Them

The lady identified as Oliver Kemigisa, a mother of a 5-month-old baby in Kagadi district wrote her ever memorable story when as she saved her baby called, Rachael Karungi. This shocking incident occurred this last Sunday around 5pm, when she was preparing supper.

However, while in an interview with the New Vision, Oliver Kemigisa implied that she had left the baby with a three-year-old collide outside while doing her domestic work. But as she continued with her work, Oliver was so shocked when she saw 20 chimpanzees all over her baby.

A mother rescued her baby.

Mother alias Oliver Kemigisa  confessed that her baby was already in the arms of chimpanzee as another targeted to ‘kidnap’ the three-year-old.

“When I saw that they (Chimpanzees) wanted to take my second child, I became firm and fought them. That is how I saved the boy,”  Kemigisa told New Vision.

She said Karungi was taken into the nearby bush, but residents turned up immediately and began chasing them. The animals had hidden the baby in the grass after removing the skirt she was wearing.

When the baby was discovered, she was unconscious and was immediately rushed to Muhorro Health centre III where she is currently admitted.

Women who are mothers always fight for their babies just because they know how they suffered while giving birth.
