Movit Gives Covid-19 Relief Aid Worth Ugx75 Million

Through its Baby Junior brand, Movit has launched a Corporate Social Investment (CSI/R) drive. It has aimed this initiative at reaching out to Children’s homes across the entire country.

The drive is part of the company’s annual Corporate Social Investment and response to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The brand has apparently extended assorted items to 10 different Babies Homes across the country.

The items include foodstuffs, Assortment of Baby Junior products like soap, Vaseline, sanitizers, powder, among other things. These will help keep hygiene in the homes to avoid home-based spread of the virus.

‘’As Movit Products Limited, we appreciate the Management and Team at Agape House Babies Home, for the amazing work they have done over the years, as they offer shelter and the basic needs that are instrumental in the children upbringing,’’ said Robert Kitenda, Head of Marketing at Movit.

He also revealed that donating to Agape Babies Home and nine other homes is something they as Movit pride in.

As a Head of the Marketing sector, Kitenda also said giving back to the communities in which they operate is a great platform for marketing products.

Furthermore, Baby Junior’s support will reach over 1200 children living in these children’s homes.
