The squad will be tasked with securing the W in the remaining two matches of the FIFA World Cup 2022 group E matches.
There are a couple of new faces on this provisional squad from the side that played against Rwanda last month.
These new faces include Scottish-based defender Bevis Kristofer Kizito Mugabi of Motherwell Football Club. They have also added John Revita (KCCA), goalkeeper Mathias Kigonya and forward Allan Okello (AC Paradou, Algeria) to the squad.
Mahad Kakooza from Express as well as SC Villa duo of Gavin Kizito Mugweri and Kenneth Ssemakula will also be joining the squad.
Micho named the team after the Sunday training session at St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende. Here they held a practice training match with UPL side UPDF. It won against the national team 1-0 courtesy of defender Julius Kisambira.
Training will resume today afternoon at Lugogo Stadium in Kampala.
