He said people often forget a creative who worked so hard to take the entertainment industry to another level when they die.
Nsereko promised Lubwama before he died that he will make sure people still remember him everyday. Kato Lubwama died one year ago after a heart attack.
He had prepared a concert at Kampala Serena hotel to celebrate all his work for almost 30 years. Unfortunately, he didn’t get to the day of the celebration.
During his burial, Hon Muhammad Nsereko said he used to talk to Lubwama everyday. He knew all his plans and what he wanted to do in the future.
The late comedian left so much content that wasn’t released to the public. It involved written books, poems, plays and even recorded music. People haven’t got a chance to access that unreleased work.
According to Hon Nsereko, the work will be released in honour of the late entertainer and people will be buying it. He said that he wants to make sure that young people know Kato Lubwama and how talented he was.
“It is one year ever since Kato Lubwama died but we who are still living, we have to carry on his legacy. Before and after his death, I promised him that I will make sure he is remembered. That is what I am doing right now,”
