Muhoozi Can Participate In Politics But He Should Stop Insulting The Uniform – Winnie Kiiza

Former Leader of opposition, Winnie Kiiza, has said Muhoozi has every right to take part in the politics of the country because he is a citizen. However, this would means he would have to stop insulting the uniform and just put it off perhaps.

“The son is also in uniform, talking about politics. Muhoozi, first go and resign If you want to participate in politics. You are Ugandan and allowed to participate in politics but stop insulting the uniform.”

A number of generals followed this trend and are now in politics actively. Gen Mugisha Muntu retired from the army and ran to politics and now he has a functioning party, Alliance for National Transition.

Dr. Besigye too did the same before becoming the strongest opposition Museveni ever had.

Gen. Muhoozi of late has been making so much news in media because of how he runs his social life.

Much as many claim, Museveni is grooming Muhoozi for presidency, it doesn’t look like Muhoozi knows how to behave. He is always tweeting unapologetically to the point that even his dad has failed to address him.

Meanwhile, Winnie Kiiza also said she is not surprised about individuals who want present Museveni as a sole president candidate in 2026.

“I am not surprised that some individuals are moving around saying that they now want President Museveni to run as the sole NRM candidate for 2026 and beyond.”
