President Museveni Visits Entebbe Over Its Murders

President Museveni has this morning visited residents of Mpala, Entebbe to console them over the recent murder of young females in the area.

Museveni stopped by the spot where the last woman was killed and went in an impromptu meeting with the residents, about the killings of women in Entebbe.

He sat and made notes and listened from residents and asked for suggestions and leaders

Over the last three months, more than 22 young females have been killed in Wakiso district, shaking the confidence people have in the security agenciesA number of people have been arrested although they are yet to be arraigned in court

Government has blamed the murders on witchcraft but has not provided evidence to back this claim. Museveni returned from The United Nations general assembly in New York over the weekend where he spent a week meeting world leaders.
