Museveni Stings Daily Monitor Again, Says They Work For The Enemy

President Museveni has once again thrown shade at Daily Monitor. Museveni says, the newspaper is spreading wrong information about the Ebola state in the country.

Apparently, the number of people who have so far died of Ebola are only five and not 24 as Daily Monitor published.

“Daily Monitor newspaper which works for the enemy has been proclaiming a certain number of people who died of #ebola but the people who have died are five. It’s 24 confirmed cases including the five who died.”

Museveni assured citizens that as government, they have all the situation under control so there is no need to panic.

“I want to re-assure Ugandans that govt has the capacity to control this Ebola outbreak and therefore there is no need for anxiety or restriction of movement, unnecessary closure of public places like schools, markets, and places of worship as of now.”

“The good news is that #ebola is not as infectious as COVID-19. COVID-19 is spread through breathing, it’s airborne. Ebola spreads through contacts like sweat, saliva, sexual intercourse, blood transfusion and other excretions,” Museveni added.

Museveni said this during the state of Nation address he held to share with the citizens on issues of national importance including Ebola.
