Regardless of the economy, Muslims have pledged to recognize this day because of how important it is. Normally, this day starts with prayers at 8am after which they slaughter animals.
Muslim leaders have encouraged every Muslim to make sure they participate in this Eid Al Adha. No matter the issue, at least every Muslim has been encouraged to have an animal to slaughter.
Usually, Muslims share with several people because it accords them blessings as they do so. This is not only limited to Muslims because they go ahead to share with non-Muslims as well.
In Arua, the Muslim leaders say this day is significant, as this is the day Muslims feed the poor. They are going to slaughter cows, and they expect to feed about 1,052 families.
Given the economic situation at hand, the help is truly helpful for a number of families because many may not afford to participate in this day.
Most of the Muslim families had given up in recognizing this day because of the economic situation in the country. Everything is currently so expensive because of the hiked prices in transportation due to fuel prices.
However, leaders have encouraged every one to ensure they participate even if it means coming together with different families.
