My Home Is Still Surrounded By The Military – Bobi Wine

Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine has said that up until now, the military is still surrounding his home. He informed his fans using social media where he claimed he is under house arrest.

“My home is still surrounded by the military- under house arrest. In Kayunga, #DictatorMuseveni showed up surrounded by military trucks. In Kampala, there’s heavy deployment too. The illegitimate regime fears the people. The PEOPLE will eventually win.”

The military showed up at his home yesterday after learning about his trip to Kayunga. Apparently, according to the RDC, Bobi Wine was not scheduled to go to Kayunga yesterday because the Head of State was there too.

Though Bobi Wine claims he informed those concerned early, the RDC said Bobi was given all other options aside from yesterday.

Well, the President went ahead to campaign for his candidate yesterday as Bobi was under house arrest. The president advised Kayunga residents to vote for NRM if they want to be worked on with ease.

He said there is no way he can do much when the LCV is not NRM.

“I can’t do much when the LCV is not NRM. How will I know the roads that need to be built? That needs to be brought to my attention by NRM MPs and LCV,” President Museveni said.

Elections are to take place tomorrow as earlier scheduled by Electoral Commission. This only means Bobi Wine may not get the chance to campaign for his candidate if the military is not out sooner than a few minutes from now.

These campaigns are power-packed by a lot of drama from all corners but tomorrow will bring an end to it.
