My Parents Wanted Me To Become A Lawyer – Feffe Bussi Reveals

Ugandan rapper Feffe Bussi has revealed that his parents are career-oriented, they wanted him to become a lawyer. He said in the beginning, they felt like he had disappointed them but they later understood that he is good at singing and that is his passion.

Bussi is one of the most talented rappers in Uganda. He said he was inspired by another Ugandan hip hop artist now in the United States GNL Zamba.

The singer said he copied so much from him and up to date, it has kept him moving forward and it has gotten him where he is at the moment musically.

According to Feffe Bussi, he started singing while still at school. He said he used to escape from school to go and perform at certain events when he wasn’t even invited.

His parents had told him that they wanted him to become a lawyer but he had very different dreams from theirs. Even if he didn’t make it to music, he wanted another career path which was radio presentation.

“My parents wanted me to become a lawyer professionally, but my dream was to pursue radio presentation. They were not happy when I put my time into music. But because music is my passion, my parents later decided to fully support me and that is why I am here,” he said.

The rapper said he will also allow his children to pursue whatever they like, he will always support them.
