Naira Ali Calls Out Andrew Kyamagero’s Misogynistic Opinions On Marriage

Ugandan singer based in the diaspora Naira Ali has called out media personality Andrew Kyamagero’s opinions about marriage. She said she feels sorry for men like him.

This is because of what they think when it comes to marriage and how to treat their women at home.

Kyamagero is a married man with three children. He has always talked about his married life and how men are supposed to take themselves while at home.

Recently, he appeared on a family show and made some comments about how he behaves at home. He said that he can’t cook while his wife is seated at home. He said that his job as a man is to make money and lead, not to go to the kitchen to prepare meals for his family.

Kyamagero also advised his fellow men especially Baganda not to go to the kitchen. Apparently, this will make women disrespect him.

According to Naira Ali, the media personality should stop validating his thinking to the public. She said even though some cultures embrace it, it doesn’t mean that they are right.

“I really feel sorry for men like these. What is even more saddening is how they openly vindicate their “closed box thinking”. Just because some cultures accepted certain beliefs doesn’t make it right now,” she said.
