The talented singer revealed that she started getting some money from her music after she left the country.
Naira Ali is among the few musicians who have left Uganda and kept their career on top back home. Most artists who leave to look for greener pastures usually don’t continue with their careers back home.
The singer said when she started earning some money from her music, she knew she had to get a team in Uganda that would keep pushing her to do better. Fortunately, she had made some good friendships with media personalities and she kept in contact with them.
She advised artistes who leave Uganda and still want their music careers to blossom to keep investing and giving their fans the best.
“I started earning from my music after I left Uganda. I had never been booked for much money. When I left the country, people started seeing my value and that is when I knew I had to keep investing in my talent,” she said.
It should be recalled that Naira Ali recently named former radio presenter Kasuku as her media personality of the year. Perhaps this explains her influence in the industry even when she is currently living abroad.
