He made this statement through his social media platforms specifically Twitter.
Kaggwa Njala has been an outspoken journalist both on television and social media. He usually gives his thoughts about most situations around Uganda and outside.
This time around, he is all about service providers who are always at functions like makeup artists, those that decorate, the deejays and many others.
According to Kaggwa Njala, these service providers have no respect for people and their functions whatsoever.
They don’t care about how much the owner of the function is spending on food and the only thing they do is get greedy on top of the money paid to them.
In a civilized world, the invited guests and the owner of the functions are the people supposed to be served food first. But in Uganda, service providers get food first something that is annoying.
According to the TV host, service providers should only get food if the host prepares it for them. But if not, they should do their work and leave the function.
“Without fear of contradiction, service providers shouldn’t be given food at events. They’re not guests. Except if the host prepared for them. They often become a nuisance lining up before guests, especially in hotels,” Simon Kaggwa Njala posted.
