Public Rebukes NBS TV Over Lukwago And Ofwono Incident

NBS TV Under Fire For Seemingly Trying To Cover Up Lukwago And Ofwono Incident

The public has lashed out at NBS TV saying they seem as though they want to cover up what really transpired between Lukwago and Ofwono.

On Thursday, during the Frontline show on NBS, a fight broke out between Lord Mayor Lukwago and the government Spokesperson, Ofwono Opondo. Due to this, the show had to end prematurely.

However, when NBS came out to give a statement on what really happened, nothing was said. They rather said matters are still being investigated which annoyed a number of people.

According to them, what more investigation is there to make yet there is footage.

“One time Gen Kasirye Ggwanga burnt a tractor, the police said they were investigating what happened. Gwanga asked them “what are you investigating? I burnt the tractor.. Are you investigating the matchbox that I used or what?” NBS, what are you investigating?” A one Gift Sarkozy.

Some members of the public said the show host seemed not to have been in charge. Ofwono reached a point of threatening to throw out Lukwago but it went unnoticed in front of the moderator. This forced many to ask who truly runs NBS.

“OO told Lukwago “We can push you out of here… ” and u did nothing, it showed that you aren’t in charge of that station, you can’t investigate anything,” o me Nahabwe Rona said.

Meanwhile, in Lukwago’s account, his efforts to get the footage from NBS has been futile. Ofwono Opondo on the other hand has not rendered any apology for his behavior.
