Nobat Events Ready To Go To Prison For Helping Weasel

Ugandan events promoter and organizer Nobat Events has revealed that he is ready to go to prison for helping singer Douglas Mayanja also known as Weasel. He said that he didn’t gain anything from that concert, instead he was beaten, and lost a tooth and all his money which left him in debt.

Nobat Events is amongst the promoters that have been in the industry for a very short period of time. He was lucky that he started with big artists like Pallaso. This is something that opened up doors for him to work with other big artists.

Everything was going on well not until he organised Weasel’s concert. He anticipated getting more money from it hence investing so much.

Unfortunately, the promoter was faced with losses which Weasel couldn’t understand. All he wanted was his money that Nobat Events didn’t have.

Besides the money, the two also involved themselves in a verbal war that proceeded into a physical fight.

According to Nobat Events, all he was doing was out of a good heart. He thought that by helping he would be appreciated at some point.

However, at the moment he is likely to end up behind bars because he breached the contract and didn’t even deliver the services at Weasel’s concert like he had promised.

“I’m ready to face prison for helping Weasel. I don’t think being a good person is a way to go because people take it for granted. I may end up in prison but I am ready for everything that comes along,” he said.
