Nobert Events Accuses Ragga Dee For Being An Enemy Of Music Industry

Events promoter Nobert Events has accused legendary singer Ragga Dee for being an enemy of the music industry. He said that some old artistes still want to be in power forgetting that the young generation is ready to take it up to the next level.

Ragga Dee hasn’t been actively releasing music but he has been very active in other activities taking place in the music industry.

He has been in meetings with stake holders discussing what can be done to improve the whole industry but at the same time he is doing contradictory things.

As a president of artistes, Eddy Kenzo decided to organize a jam session weekly for artistes to meet socialise and have a good time.

Indeed artistes started coming together with the older musicians meeting the younger musicians during those sessions.

Ragga Dee also decided to come up with his own jam session on a different day and venue claiming that some artistes are not comfortable hanging out at Eddy Kenzo’s jam session.

According to Nobert Events what Ragga Dee is doing shows how he doesn’t want the music industry to develop.

I do think that Ragga Dee tells the world that he wants Ugandan music industry to develop but in reality he is the biggest enemy of the industry. He is of enough to be concentrating on other things rather than the music which he is not actively doing,”’
