NRM Was Not Present When God Gave Moses The Ten Commandments – Emmanuel Dombo

NRM’s Emmanuel Dombo has come out to claim that the NRM is a young party. Apparently, it is “just” 37 years old. Therefore, it wasn’t present during the times of Moses when God was handing him the 10 commandments.

Therefore those who accuse the party of corruption and embezzlement should know that this vice has been existing from way back in time.

“NRM is 37 years in power but when God gave the 10 commandments urging people not to steal, NRM wasn’t there. People have been stealing (corruption) from way back.”

Dombo who was appearing on the NBS Morning Breeze said that what the NRM has mastered is peace. With this he pointed out the likes of Kabuleeta who was a fellow panelist on the show having formed political parties.

Kabuleeta transformed his economic movement into the National Economic Empowerment Dialogue. According to Dombo, this is also the democracy and securing of futures they promised Ugandans.

“When NRM created a conducive environment, parties started getting formed. We (NRM) take the credit for what Joseph Kabuleeta has done (forming a political party). This is democracy and what we told Ugandans we would do in securing their future.”

Dombo concluded by saying that as the country celebrates 60 years of independence next week on the 9th of October, NRM will be pleased to see that they have taken half of these. And they have been the most progressive compared to previous regimes Dombo concluded.
