NUP Accuses NRM Of Stuffing Ballot Boxes With Ticked Ballot Papers In Kayunga

National Unity Platform, NUP has accused NRM of stuffing ballot boxes with pre-ticked ballot papers before the start of elections in Kayunga.

Bobi Wine ran to his social media with photo evidence of this act from his agents who apparently reached there by the hour of 6:00am.

“Our agents arrived at this polling station at 6:30am (before 7:00am when voting is meant to start). They got this man red-handed, stuffing in these ballot papers at Namavundu Church polling station. We are seeing in Kayunga what happened in January & why M7 switched off internet.”

Due to this, NUP Spokesperson says some of their agents have been arrested already. According to him, all this is being done so that NRM can get away with this plan of ballot stuffing.

“We’ve received reports of our agents being arrested when they showed up at polling stations in Kayunga. They are arresting & taking them away so they can execute their diabolical plans of ballot stuffing & other rigging. All this is in vain, nothing can stop an idea whose time has come!”

Some supporters of NUP have gone ahead to ask themselves why it looks like winning LCV race in Kayunga is a big deal to NRM. This apparently, is very suspicious.

“Buuuh what’s in Kayunga that NRM is dying for am wondering if this happens for LC5 by-elections then what will happen for by-elections for MPs…,” a one Mugabe Davis wrote.
