Obey The NRM Government To Get Juicy Jobs – RDC To Muslims

Al-Hajji Nsereko Mutumba, the Resident District Commissioner (RDC) of Kayunga has urged Muslims to obey the government if they want to access top positions in the public service sector.

The RDC made these remarks during a congratulatory party of Hajjat Ahmed Saba, who has been appointed director for human resources at the Uganda Civil Aviation Authority (UCAA). He said the government will never hire someone who poses a threat of sabotaging its programs.

According to Mutumba, the government sends an intelligence team to gather information about a person. This is before they are appointed in any key position.

If the government finds the person to be antagonistic or previously spoke ill against the government, apparently they miss the opportunity.

Mutumba consequently added that Muslims who wished to get ‘juicy’ jobs in the government should be submissive, obedient and patient.

He used himself as an example because his appointment as RDC came just a year ago yet he has supported NRM since the 1980’s. He, therefore, asked Hajjat Saba to remain obedient if she wishes to benefit more from the government.

Saba has been serving as commissioner for human resource at URA. This was until weeks ago when she became the new UCAA director with the same responsibilities.

Apparently, she became part of URA 16 years ago aged 22 and rose through the ranks up to commissioner.

There has been a mess happening at UCAA including corruption and dubious appointments of staff. Saba however noted that she will deal with this through applying the skills she has been using at URA.

This is majorly being humble, consulting and giving an ear to all positive advice.
