Omega 256 has been in the music industry for over five years. She first became popular in the western part of Uganda and later had a breakthrough even in the central, mainly Kampala.
She was compared to fellow singer Ray G because they come from the same region. The media also started creating beef between them, which she said was based on making him look bad.
According to the singer, she has had so many people even close friends in her life that don’t believe in her. But she works harder to show them that she is the best and can do whatever it takes to be the person she wants to be.
The singer said that criticism doesn’t affect her like these young musicians because she has been through that so many times. All she focuses on is the music that made her known and the fans who keep motivating her to do much better.
“I don’t listen to criticism, music is my reality. I have been through all that with people criticizing my talent and how I do my things. And I don’t care as long as I give people music to listen to,” she said.
