Onyango Rewarded A Car As Token Of Appreciation

Retired Cranes captain, Denis Onyango gets rewarded with a car as a token of appreciation. The president and the first lady saw him worthy of receiving this car from them.

He got his car after the meeting he had with the president on 6th May 2021. Onyango had gone to have a talk with the president about a few issues related to sports.

Most of the people on social media appreciated the fact that the president has appreciated Onyango. Unlike usually, this time round people didn’t throw so much shade about this gift of a car.

Most people have actually come out to say it’s the most deserving gift that has ever been given out to anyone.

“He is the only one he has given a vehicle when he deserves it.” someone tweeted.

“Onyango retired and a stadium won’t benefit him much, a car does. Not everything is bad. Let’s clap for @masindeonyango he deserves that and more, he made me proud to be Ugandan.” another fan tweeted.

We still don’t know what was really discussed during that meeting. However, the sports world in Uganda is bleeding with so many needs. We hardly have a stadium to host sports activities in the country.

Players are battling with little and no pay to some extent. The bad leadership in FUFA is also costing the activities.

Surely there is a lot to handle and it should be done fast. We only hope Onyango had the guts to lay the needs of footballers without fear.
