“In case the opposition fronts a single candidate, it’ll be very hard for Andrew Oulanyah Ojok to win the Omoro seat. I think the best opposition can do now is to front a single candidate. If we want to take Omoro away from the NRM, we should front a single candidate. Toolit Simon is one of the best candidates for Omoro.” Hon. Gilbert Olanya said.
Every opposition party has fronted its own candidate in the Omoro race. However, news is going around that some people from the opposition are also opting for NRM’s Andrew Ojok to take on Oulanyah’s legacy.
Some supporters are against this saying every party has its own agenda.
“But we are in Political parties. Why can’t the opposition have a single candidate? Second, if opposition allows NUP, for them they don’t want more numbers in Parliament?” a one Ngabirano Joseph said.
NRM supporters on the other hand say all they expect is a win from this election regardless of what the opposition will do.
“He will win massively. The people of OMORO need development and service delivery not opposition leaders who just shout without facts. If they make a mistake and vote opposition, they will regret it until the late Oulanyah rises from the dead.
They should vote NRM candidate.” one NRM supporter said.
