Jonathan Nalebo said Gravity just focuses on making money but he doesn’t care about what he is teaching to the community.
Gravity is one artist who releases a song and it goes viral because of its controversial lyrics. Both young and old fans sing and dance to his songs despite not knowing what exactly the song means.
According to Nalebo, he thinks Ugandans are not supposed to be vibing to Gravity Omutujju’s songs because they are meaningless. He said there is good music in Uganda that has meaning and teaches the community.
The outspoken former music critic said he is a friend to Gravity Omutujju. Whatever he says in the media he can tell it to him in his face because that is the reality.
The church pastor said as a friend of Gravity, has tried to talk to him about his kind of music but it seems he will never change. This is because that is where he earns more money.
“Gravity Omutujju is my friend but his music is trash. It doesn’t teach anything to the community despite people singing and dancing to it. I have talked to him multiple times but with the money he makes, he can’t change,” he said.
